More than passing a test

Special needs training for driving instructors.
HSA Driving has completed specialist training focused on understanding and supporting a range of learner needs in the driving lesson environment.
The certificate records a one-day special needs training course for driving instructors covering neurodiversity and needs including autism, ADD, ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia.
Adapting the learning experience.
Learners do not all process information, build confidence or progress in the same way. This training supports a more informed and flexible approach to lesson planning and communication, helping us adapt instruction to the individual learner.
Our aim is to provide a structured, respectful and supportive learning environment in which each learner can develop driving skills at an appropriate pace.
The course was delivered by driveJohnson's and the certificate is held by HSA Driving as part of our commitment to continued professional development.
